Great location near the Quay, but the manager's attitude really ruined our meal.

Central location, vibrant bar scene, outdoor seating area
Rooms felt old and dated!!! The internet connection was troublesome, and the bathroom fixtures could use immediate repairs. a little more attention to cleanliness wouldn't hurt!!!

Spacious room with charming period features, including an oriel bay window providing a view of the bustling street below. A delightful breakfast including freshly prepared hot options and an enticing fish and chip night adds to the experience.
Parking is a hassle with no designated spots available on-site, forcing guests to utilize distant multi-storey car parks. Accessing some rooms involves navigating narrow, winding stairs, which isn’t convenient for travelers with heavier luggage or mobility challenges. The occasional signs of wear in the common areas, like the stairway and passages needing cleaning and a touch-up, take away from the otherwise enjoyable atmosphere.

Charming Historic Stay with Room for Improvement
The hotel boasts a lovely character, and we appreciated the friendly staff. the breakfast options fell short, lacking variety. Our stay was marred by noise from the bar, making it hard to rest. Future guests should seek quieter rooms away from the bar area.

Had an amazing time with friends! We loved exploring the nearby quay and enjoying the local restaurants. The team at the hotel was super friendly and helped us with all our questions. Just a heads up, parking is paid and can be a bit of a walk, but the location is great.
We did experience some noise from a party below us one night, it was a bit disruptive and made it hard to sleep.

Charming atmosphere and friendly service
I had a lovely stay with my family, enjoying the vibrant location close to the quay and the delightful seaside restaurants. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel at home. The room was comfortable, and we especially appreciated having a bathtub to relax in after a long day. the hotel could use a bit of an update to enhance the overall experience.

I had a lovely time with my partner during our 3-night stay, enjoying the wide range of breakfast options and the comfortable bed in our room. We also appreciated the peaceful garden area with loungers and a cozy spot for evening drinks. The only downside was the slightly chilly weather, but that didn't ruin our experience at all! 😊

The location of the Antelope is really convenient, just a short walk to the quay. Room 22 felt cozy for our two-night stay. We had great evening meals. really tasty food. The bar area had a nice vibe, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, making us feel welcomed throughout. there were quite a few maintenance issues. The toilet seat in the room needed fixing, which was a bit concerning. waiting a long time for food service one evening wasn't ideal. One of the nights, my partner and I felt a slight draft from the window, as it wasn't closing properly. the experience was enjoyable, but some upkeep is definitely needed for a better stay.

The Double Room was cozy and very clean, which was a major plus. the room felt quite dark and a bit dated. The bed was comfy though, which helped a lot. The wash hand basin had a crack, and the shelf above it wasn't in a great spot. Shower wasn't easy to regulate. might've been a bit tricky to figure out. it had its charm, but definitely needs some updates.

Great location and helpful staff
I recently stayed for one night and found the location perfect, just minutes from the quay. The staff were incredibly friendly and willing to help with any questions I had. The room was comfortable, met my needs, and featured a good-sized bathroom. breakfast options could be improved as some items were overcooked.
